Hi, I’m AJ (she/they), a Texas native turned Angelino writer. I have read and written for TV and Film development for 8 years while text editing as a localization Tester/Editor for 9 shipped video games, including the AAA Elden Ring, and has lead narrative for a published dating sim game, Maelstrom Masquerade, now available for play on itch.io! I excel in writing comedy mixed with other genres, collaborative detailed feedback, and editing.

In 2018, I started my own side sole proprietorship, Austen Knights Entertainment as a writer and producer. I'm known for my short, Pappy Hour, currently streaming on Omeleto, starring Samantha Sloyan, nominated for Best Writer at Queen Palm Film Festival.

My screenplays have been recognized by Austin Film Festival, Screencraft Film Fund, the Red List on Coverfly, and I have been a finalist for Comedy and semi-finalist for New Voices in Animation at Stage 32.
